The permanent exhibition tells the story of those individuals who assisted persecuted Jews in Germany and German-occupied Europe during National Socialism. Help and rescue were the exception. The permanent exhibition shows that help was indeed possible and that it existed in many European countries. The exhibition features both non-Jewish and Jewish helpers as well as rescue networks, including both successful and failed rescue attempts.
